Do you have a food or drink event that benefits a non-profit that serves Sonoma Valley? Tell Sarah at [email protected].

Glen Ellen-based winery Kivelstadt Cellars is hosting a Spring Release Party with proceeds benefiting the Sonoma Valley Health Center (SVHC) in Sonoma. The event is May 7 and will take place at winery’s Santa Rosa estate vineyard.

Kivelstadt will be celebrating the release their 2015 white, rose and orange wines. They will also be pouring current release reds.

Keeping with it’s “Wine Country Hipster” vibe, the winery will be not only entertaining guests with lawn games, but DJ Johan will spin records (yes people, vinyl records).

They’re importing Stag Dining from San Francisco to serve up a new wave Mexican-themed menu, including asparagus and mushroom tacos, roasted pig tacos, and all the fixings.

The Sonoma Valley Health Center provides much needed healthcare to low-income populations in our community, including people working in local agriculture, monolingual minorities, the low-income, the uninsured/under-insured (the at-risk and disenfranchised, including the homeless).

It is highly likely you know someone who has benefited from their services.

The event is May 7, Saturday, 12 PM-4PM | Tickets start at $10 (what a deal) and San Francisco residents can avoid drinking and driving and take a shuttle from SF to the vineyard for a mere $35.

Purchase tickets here or contact Connor Ross at [email protected] or 949.632.1438.
