A vote for Cuclis

Posted on April 29, 2016 by Sonoma Valley Sun

I have been involved in volunteering in Sonoma for over 50 years, from working in the school libraries to driving Care-a-Van — remember the only public bus we had before the county took over? — to packing and delivering food for F.I.S.H. to 20 years on the Sonoma City Council and longer than that on the mobile home park rent review board.

It is easy for me to support another long-time Valley volunteer. Gina Cuclis has been working for a better valley since she moved here 30 years ago. I like that she spent almost 10 years on the Sonoma Planning Commission as the representative from outside the city. It would be an advantage for the Board of Supervisors to not only have a long-time area representative, but also one who lives in the unincorporated area of the county.

Gina is a problem solver who gets things done, and it is important to me that two of her priorities are roads and support for the Sheriff’s Office, which I feel should be at the top of every supervisor’s list, rather than spending that money on new ideas and projects, no matter how desirable they may seem.

  1. This sounds like a political ad that Gina gave to a “friend” to submit to the editor….
