Quaker Oats has recalled their quinoa granola bars due to sunflower seeds possibly being contaminated with listeria.

This is one of many national recalls set forth due to listeria – it’s an infection caused from food contamination. Several people have reported suffering from the illness, which can be deadly, due to the consumption of select frozen foods that have since been recalled.

Quaker has recalled the following granola bars;

  • Quinoa bars Chocolate Nut Medley – UPC 30000 32241 and Best Before Dates of 10/16/2016 and 10/17/2016
  • Quinoa bars Yogurt, Fruit and Nut Medley – UPC code 30000 32243 and Best Before Dates of 10/10/2016 and 10/11/2016

Return to them the point of purchase for a refund.
