Dog license amnesty program ends Saturday

Posted on May 18, 2016 by Sonoma Valley Sun

Throughout the Springs and unincorporated area of Sonoma Valley,  a license is required for all dogs four months and older. Is yours current?  Right now dog owners can pay for a current license and have any overdue license or penalty fees wiped away.

Download the application, and mail it in with payment or bring it to Sonoma County Animal Services in Santa Rosa. The amnesty program, which does not include residents of the city of Sonoma, ends Saturday, May 21.

The license fee helps Sonoma County Animal Services care for 5,000 homeless animals each year.
