Where to drop off your mail ballot

Posted on May 25, 2016 by Sonoma Valley Sun

Voting by mail this year? You can skip the stamp, and any any post office drama, by bring ballots to the Sonoma Veterans Building (126 First St. West) on one of these dates: Saturday, May 28, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. or Saturday, June 4, between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.

Ballots will be accepted at these locations for the dates and times listed only.

A secure drop box is also available at the drive-thru window at the Registrar of Voters office (435 Fiscal Drive, Santa Rosa), which is open 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

Voters must remember to sign and date their blue envelope containing voted ballot cards before dropping the ballot in the box.

For more information, contact the Sonoma County Registrar of Voters Office between 8 a.m. and 5 p.m. Monday through Friday at 565-6800, or toll free at 1-800-750-VOTE.
