In the market for a free jazz concert? The Cabanijazz Project, the eight-piece, horn heavy “new Mambo and retro Latin band” out of San Francisco, plays the Sonoma Farmers’ Market on Tuesday, July 11.
Helmed by master percussionist and composer Javier Cabanillas the group includes veteran, Grammy-winning musicians. The free 6 p.m. show is presented by the Sonoma Jazz Society in the Grinstead Amphitheatre.
