Pressed for details: Sonoma’s role in early printing

Like your teenagers getting the first iPhone, the first printing press in California — brought to Sonoma pueblo by General Vallejo — ushered in a new age of communication.
“General Vallejo’s Printing Press and its Role in California History,” a lecture by local history expert Dr. Peter Meyerhof, will cover the impact on Thursday, September 20.
