Saturday, September 29: Botanist and author Peter Del Tredici, who served as Senior Research Scientist at Harvard University’s Arnold Arboretum, lectures on urban ecosystems with: “Urban nature: Human Nature.”
His work examines ‘spontaneous vegetation’ — resilient plants that manage to succeed in cities, and why a new crop of hardy, adaptive plants are increasingly important.
