City of Sonoma hosts fire anniversary observance

The community is invited to observe the one-year anniversary of the October wildfires on Sunday, October 7, at 7 p.m. The ceremony will be held at the LOVE sculpture on the Plaza horseshoe lawn.
The occasion will include a moment of silence, bell tolling, and lighting of the LOVE sculpture in honor of those who lost their lives as a result of the 2017 fires.
Additional community remembrance events and gatherings are being planned throughout Sonoma Valley.
