Ceramic artist recounts visit to China

Kala Stein, director of the SCC Ceramics and Arts Programs, recently returned from a sabbatical in Jingdezhen China (“the Porcelain Capital of the World). She will recount the experience with a ‘Show-and-Tell’ Artist Talk, on Monday, August 26.
Stein will share images and significant cultural objects from her travels as well as new work she made during her residency.
All are invited to attend this free event (suggested donation $10), at 10 a.m. in Gallery 212 at the Sonoma Community Center, 276 E. Spain St.
