The Sonoma Plein Air Festival, when 35 artists create works inspired by local landscapes, opens with a “Quick Draw” on Sonoma Plaza during the Farmers Market on September 10, as artists have 90 minutes to paint an original work.
Keith Wicks paints in the plein air style (“open air” in French), capturing a Sonoma moment and scene on canvas.
During the week they fan out throughout the Valley to capture stunning scenes for the big Art Exhibition & Sale on Saturday, September 14, 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Sonoma Plaza. Free. Sonomapleinair.com.
