Sonoma Valley. It is one of those historic areas known for two things which are close to any sane person’s heart: art and wine. Actually, the charming town of Sonoma is considered to be the center of California’s wine industry.

If you had thought that this city is just your everyday, average American city, then you might want to think again, as Sonoma, on top of their art and wine, are also hosts of the very famous, highly anticipated Sonoma International Film Festival. So, if you ever choose to visit this beautiful city, you might want to wait until April, for the festival. Who knows, you might bump into Bruce Willis. But if you don’t, then you won’t get upset, because with the things you can enjoy, Sonoma will make sure you have a great time.

Up there, golf is considered as an all year-round pursuit to enjoy, seeing that the weather is rarely not pleasant.

When in Sonoma’s wine country, it only seems fair and rational to please your buds to some fine wine. While you’re at it, you might enjoy yourself a nice tour around the wineries. You are bound to find something you like amongst the 425 wineries in Sonoma. 

Hiking

Nothing beats the feeling of fresh air whilst exploring a place on foot. While the hiking is done in the county and not in the city, you’ll enjoy yourself some sun and miles of trails. The good news is that there’s something for everyone, as you’ll find trails for all skill levels. 

Art Galleries

What can be more pleasing to the eye than a nice painting, sculpture or an abstract art piece of some kind. The art scene is extremely rich in Sonoma that you will find a gallery even when you’re not searching. Seeing that it’s famous for the art as well, you might enjoy yourself a visit to the galleries there. 

Lake Sonoma

Maybe if you want something that’s more cooling and relaxing, a visit to the Lake Sonoma is just what you’ll need. Whether it’s for a swim or to do some fishing, you’ll find that the lake offers the perfect opportunity to get out on the water and have fun.

A lot can be done in Sonoma, and it’s all very fun. Thanks to the sun and mild weather, the outdoor activities will see to it that you and your body can both enjoy yourselves a rich supply of vitamin D.
