Sonoma march and vigil planned for this evening

A Walk for Unity has been called for this evening, June 6, starting at 5:30 at Sonoma Valley High School and progressing 5:45 walk to Sonoma Plaza. Planned is a “vigil honoring the victims of police brutality and a moment of silence for our black brothers and sisters.”

Two protest rallies have been held on the Plaza this week, Tuesday evening and Wednesday afternoon, were held peacefully and without incident. Below, a scene from Wednesday’s gathering of some 400 people — “Your struggle is my struggle.”
