UPDATE: Dementia patient missing from Sonoma care facility FOUND SAFE

Latest from the Sheriff’s Office at about 2:08 p.m: “Missing Person has been located in Santa Rosa and in good health.”

Early this morning (6/26), 74-year-old Paul Herz, who has dementia, left his residential care facility in Sonoma on foot. Herz rode the Sonoma County transit from Sonoma to downtown Santa Rosa where he was last seen at around 10:30 am.

Herz is described as a white male adult, 5’9″ tall, 150 pounds with grey hair. He was last seen possibly wearing a blue denim button-up shirt, grey sweat pants with sandals.

If found, please call Sonoma County Sheriff’s Office Dispatch Center at (707) 565-2121 or dial 911. Let’s locate Herz and get him back home.
