Teachers union makes School Board picks

Posted on October 17, 2020 by Sonoma Valley Sun

Following a rigorous and thorough process, the union representing the teachers in Sonoma Valley Unified voted to endorse Adam Lobsinger and Anne Ching.

Adam Lobsinger is a lifelong Sonoman having attended K-12 Sonoma Valley Unified Schools. His wife is a teacher at Adele Harrison. As a first responder, Adam knows difficult challenges and is up to the task. As a father of two, his motivation is to make all our schools the best they can be for all kids. He understands the needs of teachers and students and will be an advocate for all.

Anne Ching is a well-regarded expert on budgets and school district programs. She is an advocate for accountability for how we allocate and spend our precious resources. As a mom of two Sonoma Valley grads now off to college, she was a leader in the Education Foundation, helping raise funds for all our schools. Anne will be a strong voice on our school board, not a rubber stamp. Her endorsements from Superintendents, parents, and now teachers speak to her ability to bring people together. Anne will bring together those who will work towards a brighter future for all stakeholders.

Valley of the Moon Teachers Association (VMTA) is asking voters to support Adam Lobsinger and Anne Ching in the upcoming election.
