Johnson for lasting education reform

Posted on October 19, 2020 by Sonoma Valley Sun

I am voting to re-elect Britta Johnson for Sonoma Valley School Board because she has proven her commitment to providing public education excellence for the children of Sonoma Valley. Britta’s work has created a momentum of change that must continue to achieve lasting success.

Her track record of achieving real results felt by teachers and students while raising the bar for financial accountability, academic rigor, diverse curriculum and community involvement is unparalleled. Britta has tirelessly led the reform that is underway in our district, and she will continue this incredibly collaborative work.

Britta has rolled up her sleeves and worked in the trenches to support every level of K-12 classroom and campus for years, far before her tenure began on the Board. She has kept libraries open, ensured technical and vocational program offerings and has a deep and practical understanding of the district’s budget.

Britta understands that behind every revolution there is a small group of dedicated people that craft the framework of reform – in fact, she is the architect. Britta’s leadership on the School Board is needed now more than ever for meaningful education reform.

Britta believes in Sonoma Valley Schools, and she walks her talk. I respectfully ask for your valuable vote for Britta Johnson. Visit www.brittaforkids.com to learn more about her real results on behalf of our kids and teachers. Thank you!
