Happy Library Week!

Posted on April 4, 2021 by Sonoma Valley Sun

It’s National Library week (April 4-10) and the Sonoma County Library invites you to celebrate by taking advantage of all the free services your library card unlocks.

“Libraries are for everyone, and we know we have something you’ll love,” Sonoma County Library Director Ann Hammond said. “We invite you to pick up your favorite materials with curbside pickup and choose from thousands of eResources online at sonomalibrary.org.”

  • Peruse the library’s catalog of eBooks, eAudiobooks, physical titles and more!

  • Bust out your favorite device and dive into eResources. Enjoy services like hoopla Digital (streamable comics, music, TV, movies, eAudiobooks, and eBooks) and Kanopy (a streaming movie collection). Learn a new skill with LinkedIn Learning or a new language with Mango!

  • Visit your local library for curbside services, including pickups and returns. Order some new library materials today by calling your branch or requesting through the catalog.

Feel like showing Sonoma County Library some social media love during National Library Week? Use #NationalLibraryWeek and #SCLLOVE and don’t forget to tag @sonomalibrary!

Sonoma County Library branches are currently open for curbside pickups and returns, and the library is working on an “Express Services” model that will open branches for short periods of time at reduced capacity.

All locations offer curbside pickup! Additionally, your online library never closes. Sonoma County Library resources are online 24/7 at sonomalibrary.org, including thousands of films, TV shows, eBooks, databases, magazines, classes, videogames and more.
