Through April 26 at the Arts Guild of Sonoma: The Many Colors of Us, which explores identity and culture through art featuring works from the Art Rewards the Student program.

The ARTS brings, free to the schools, experienced teaching artists to Sonoma fourth and fifth-grade students. It’s a collaboration between the Guild, Sonoma Valley Museum of Art and the Sonoma Plein Air Foundation.

Under the direction of SVMA teaching artist Laura Leipzig, students in school classrooms, and in the Museum,  experience art-making projects that spark creativity and critical thinking.

The show features works by:
Elizabeth Heffernan’s 3rd-, 4th-, 5th-grade students at Sassarini Elementary.
Dave Kohnhorst’s 4th- grade students at El Verano Elementary
Jack Gray’s 5th- grade students at El Verano Elementary
The Arts Guild Gallery is located at 140. E. Napa St. in Sonoma. Open Wed through Mon, 11am-5pm.

Through May 30 at the Sonoma Valley Museum of Art: Ed Ruscha: Travel Log, an exhibition of books, prints and photographs by the world-renowned American artist.
