The art and science of the non-violent response

A virtual event on fostering peaceful and respectful relationships, with two authorities on non-violent resolution, will be presented by the Praxis Peace Institute on Friday, July 23, at 4.p.m.

Featured speakers will be Michael Nagler and Stephanie Van Hook.

Nagler is the president and founder of the Metta Center for Non-Violence in Petaluma, and is a respected advocate of non-violence worldwide. He founded the Peace and Conflict Studies program at UC Berkeley, an dhas written several books, including The Non-violence Handbook, and The Search for a Non-Violent Future

Stephanie Van Hook is executive director of the Metta Center for Non-violence, which offers certificates in Non-Violence Studies, Non-Violence retreats, a Non-Violence crash course for teachers, and other very relevant programs for fostering peaceful and respectful relationships.
