Sonoma’s Praxis Peace Institute continues to present zoom events with critical thinkers. On September 10: progressive voice Richard Heinberg, whose latest book Power: Limits and Prospects for Human Survival comes out this month.
Heinberg is a Senior Fellow with the Post Carbon Institute in Santa Rosa, and has written 13 books including Our Renewable Future: Laying the Path for 100% Clean Energy and The End of Growth. An advocate for a shift away from the current reliance on fossil fuels. Heinberg is featured in Michael Moore’s new film, “Planet of the Humans,” a controversial look at the environmental movement.
