Open house at the fire house

Sonoma Fire House #1, at 630 2nd St. W., is throwing its big doors wide open for a free community day on Sunday, April 24.

The Sonoma Volunteer Firefighter’s Association’s Open House, 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. 

Activities include a chance to Interact with your local firefighters, live demonstrations of fire and rescue activities, a fire safety obstacle course for kids, and more. 

  • Hands Only CPR & AED lessons 
  • Museum tours 
  • Fire and emergency preparedness information for people and animals 
  • Information booths from other local agencies (for example, local law enforcement)
  • Bounce houses 
  • Antique fire engine rides ($2 each) 
  • Fire Department Association merchandise (available for purchase) 
  • Food and drink available for purchase.
  • And more
