Crowning Sonoma Valley High School’s king and queen

Posted on October 20, 2010 by Sonoma Valley Sun

SVHS students are gearing up for the annual homecoming football game and dance this weekend, including crowning this year’s homecoming king and queen. In high style, the homecoming court was photographed this week – dubbed spirit week – dressed in a variety of get-ups that included outfits for “Nerd Day” and “Decade Day.” The 2010 Homecoming dance will be held at the Boys & Girls Club from 7 to 11 p.m. Saturday and tickets for students are still on sale at SVHS. Those in the running for queen include: Tiffany David, Natalia Minatta, Doris Martinez, Jenna Wirick and Krysta Young. Those vying for the noble title of king are: Walter Aldana, Sean Daly, Mauricio de Haro, Irving Rafaela and Jeremiah Zelaya. Look to next week’s Sun for the winner.
