Chorale welcomes special guest

The Sonoma Valley Chorale presents the program “Please Welcome Mark Hayes,” on Saturday, March 23 and Sunday, March 24 at Sonoma Veteran’s Hall

The appearance of Mark Hayes is a coup for the Sonoma Valley Chorale, and a special treat for Sonoma Valley concertgoers. Hayes is one of America’s foremost musical arrangers, and a well-known composer. He will be premiering one of his new works next month at Lincoln Center in New York. Hayes is being flown in from Kansas City as the Chorale’s special guest conductor, and he will lead the Chorale in some popular revivalist and contemporary musical scores.

The Saturday concert time is 7:30 p.m., and the Sunday concert begins at 2 p.m. Tickets are $20 general admission, $16 for Seniors and $10 for children 12 years old and under. For tickets call 935.1576. The venue is located at 126 First St. W.
