Free soccer clinics

SVYSA presents free soccer clinics for all Sonoma youth players on Saturday April 6 and Sunday April 7 at Hanna Boys Center. The clinics are a great way to gain experience with fundamental ball skills, and learning how to apply them in game-like situations.

The clinic will be overseen by local coach Doug Thompson and an experienced group of adult players and trainers from Northern California. Local coaches are encouraged to come check it out as well.

Participants should arrive a few minutes early, as all participants (and parent) are required to fill out a short insurance form in order to play. Cleats and shin guards are required, water is also highly recommended.

Schedule for both days:
• U10 players 9 a.m.
• U12 players 10:30 a.m.
• U14 players 12:30 p.m.

The SVYSA, with some 1,000 players ages 4 to 18, begins league play in August.
