Proud to be ‘politically incorrect’

Posted on May 23, 2016 by Sonoma Valley Sun

Some say that political correctness is basically having good manners. That’s garbage. My mother taught me my manners. I don’t need any Liberal politician to tell me about good manners.

Watch what you say, be careful not to offend anyone, any race, any religion, our President, Women, Terrorists, the public schools, planned Parenthood, illegal aliens, Hillary, etc. I’m sick of it.

Political correctness stifles free speech. I say what I believe and if you disagree with me then that’s your right. I won’t be offended.

Why don’t people on the left have to be politically correct when it comes to Christians or Catholics or Christmas? If I say something against blacks, Muslims, Hispanics and I’m a racist. What in the hell is so bad about being white?

If I’m against my tax dollars funding birth control or abortions then I’m against women’s rights to choose. If I feel that only citizens should vote and everyone should register to vote and show an I.D. then I’m a racist.

I think Obama is the worst president we have ever elected, so I’m a racist. I think that anyone who enters this country illegally is illegal, not the politically correct “undocumented.”

The Democratic Party, as it stands today, is no different than Socialism. So naturally I do not like Bernie Sanders, Am I anti-Semitic?

Locally, I’m against banning any leaf blowers. Let the free market take care of it. It’s not going to cause Climate Change all by itself. When China bans them then I will reconsider. The same goes for the coal industry, the oil industry and any thing else that the EPA wants to ban.

  1. Your mother taught you your manners??? You mean that nice lady was an asshole, too?

  2. There’s a big difference between being honest about what you think and being a total jerk who doesn’t give a damn about anybody but himself. One has nothing to do with the other.

  3. Stating that it is your right to do whatever you want to others, and taking no responsibility for what happens to others seems to be a hallmark of those who denounce the term “political correctness”. The writer is not talking about not wanting to practice political correctness, he is stating his right to push others around and potentially harm them. My mother taught me to always put my self in the other persons place and to think before I act or speak. Maybe that is what he means by political correctness. In the case of leaf blowers, the noise and pollution are a constant threat to my health and peace of mind. Plus they are not at all necessary. In observing leaf blower use over the last 14 years, I see people just blowing dirt around for long periods of time, while I sweep all the leaves from the street in front of my house, drive and walkways in 15 minutes with no noise or pollution. Plus, I then deposit them under the trees as mulch, where they belong. On denying woman birth control, again you advocate harm to all young women who want to have the same rights and opportunities as men. I am old and have some money now, but I was once young and poor and still can put myself in the place of young women today. Hopefully the writer may start thinking more about his actions, and words and their effects on others, and less about the use of terms.

  4. ” If I’m against my tax dollars funding birth control or abortions then I’m against women’s rights to choose ” . All right , pull funding from Planned Parenthood . Save a few bucks , and squirt many , many unplanned , kids who grow to maybe 16 , 17 and they become pregnant . The use of condoms or other birth control methods saves MORE PUBLIC MONEY , than anything else available . How about more public housing ? Do more unplanned pregnancies translate to more or less need for it ? How about landfills ? Hospital emergency rooms ? Sewage treatment ? Public transit ? Water systems All these services that will be paid for with public funds . Whether you agree or not , these hordes of human locusts being created will not be exterminated .They will continue o produce more weight on the public systems , and contribute to the ongoing , generational poverty which plagues every support system in this country . So sure , stop funding PP . And of course just tell these uneducated , Cretin populations of horny studs , and broke as hell hoochies to just say no to sex . Oh , or pay for birth control themselves .wait a minute , these people are broke as hell .Yeah , sure that’s the ticket . It’s worked so well for years . I would gladly fund vasectomy clinics . Morality doesn’t mean squat to these numbskull ghetto rats . Prevent abortions , DON’T GET PREGNANT !
