Event: A chat with school principal Maite Iturri

Congregation Shir Shalom hosts El Verano Elementary School Principal Maite Iturri in a wide-ranging conversation , with Wendy Hoffman, about the school and its challenges.
The event, organized by Shir Shalom’s Lifelong Learning Committee, begins at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 14, in the sanctuary, followed by a dessert reception.
A suggested donation, to be collected at the door, is $5 for members, $10 for non-members. A portion of the ticket sales will be donated to the Community Resource Center at El Verano School. No one will be turned away if they are unable to donate.
The talk will be held at Congregation Shir Shalom, 252 W. Spain St.
