A lawnmower is dusty but unburned after it sparked a fire in a Pueblo Avenue field shortly before 11 a.m. Tuesday. Roofers from a nearby house used a garden hose to prevent the fire from spreading to trees at the property’s rear, and two Schell-Vista engines and a tanker – joined by one CAL FIRE engine – contained the blaze within minutes. No injuries or other damages were reported.
