Legal nurse consulting firm opens

J.K. Howard and Associates has launched an independent legal nurse consulting practice in Sonoma Valley. Founded by Certified Legal Nurse Consultant, Judith K. Howard, RN, CLNC, the firm provides cost-effective services with accurate, up-to-date knowledge and the expertise to quickly pinpoint and interpret medical and nursing issues in any case involving health, illness or injury. Services include organizing and interpreting medical records, screen cases for merit, locating expert witnesses and assisting attorneys with discovery and trial preparation. Howard states her 40 years of health care experience, with 25 years in emergency services in a very diverse location, has given her the expertise and inside knowledge to offer services to a broad spectrum of cases. With experience presenting winning cases for individuals to the Veterans Administration and Social Security, she also offers services to assist individuals with document preparation. She has access to a nationwide network of healthcare colleagues who can provide the additional expertise often needed in today’s complex medical litigation.
Howard received her CLNC Certification after successfully mastering the rigorous program developed by the Vickie Milazzo Institute, the company that pioneered the field of legal nurse consulting.
