The management of Three House MultiMedia, Inc. announced Monday that it is expanding the Sonoma Valley Sun to two editions weekly. Currently the Sun, whose cover carries the motto “Warmth Light Truth,” is published on Thursdays, but beginning Tuesday October 28, it will move to a publishing schedule of Tuesdays and Fridays.
According to Three House president Stephanie Dunn, “The move to twice a week is a reflection of reader desire for more frequent delivery of our brand of local print news coverage. With daily television and radio coverage of the events of the Sonoma Valley through our sister media outlets, radio station KSVY 91.3 Sonoma and television cable channel SVTV 27, it was a natural step to provide increased access to our print media product, as well – a step we are all excited to take.”
Sonoma Valley Sun publisher Bill Hammett said, “The Friday edition of the Sun will have everything the Thursday edition has had: news, opinion, letters, social scene, community bulletins, event calendar, feature stories, business stories, your favorite columnists, sports, classified ads, and the Poodle Doodle, of course.” The new Tuesday edition of the Sun is to include many of the same features, but with expanded coverage of local sports, investigative news pieces, and some unique features of its own. “The increase in editions,” said Hammett, “is part of our continuing commitment to serve our community with news and information essential for active participation in civic affairs.”
