The infamous Sonoma Valley Harvest Wine Auction isn’t until Labor Day, but the hot deal starts this weekend with a ‘Locals Only’ discount of 30-50 percent. The savings are available starting May 1 at SonomaWineCountryWeekend.com.
The discount is offered exclusively for Sonoma County residents. It applies to regular general admission tickets to the two major events of Sonoma Wine Country Weekend, the Taste of Sonoma at MacMurray Ranch on September 4 and the Wine Auction on September 5.
Tickets go on sale to the general public on June 1.
For the discount, Sonoma County residents need to enter the word “LOCALS” in the promo code box and use their Sonoma County zip code during check out.
“We recognize the support of our local community for the wine industry, and are thrilled to provide the opportunity to take part in Sonoma County’s biggest wine and food event by offering special pricing,” explained Honore Comfort, executive director of Sonoma Wine Country Weekend.
In all, more than 200 acclaimed vintners, growers and chefs will participate in the three day pre-harvest celebration and fundraiser, which to date has raised more than $10 million for local charities.
