Editor: We would like to take issue with the notion being put forth in local publications that Cornerstone snowmen not residing on Cornerstone property have been stolen. On the contrary, several years back Cornerstone willingly sold their Sonoman/Snowmen (and later penguins as well…we have one of each), and ever since then these same Snowmen turn up yearly in store windows and on local front porches. So this year, after reading these articles, when we remove our Snowman from the original cardboard box it came in and put it out to enjoy will our neighbors think it’s stolen? The misconception being put forth is untrue, unjust and completely wrong so we urge you to print an apology/correction to all of us who do NOT have a “hot” Snowman!
