Where there's smoke, there's likely fire

The smell of smoke brought out the fire engines on Wednesday afternoon.  The Wine Hardware store on upper Broadway was closed but neighbors alerted the fire department to the smell of smoke.  As firefighters attempted to open the door without breaking it down, the rest of the crew prepared to put out the blaze.
