I wanted to express my many thanks to Dan and the VFW Post for contributions to the 10K Run that my platoon was putting on while stationed in Tallil, Iraq. There are not enough words to express not only what the Somona VFW Post did for my platoon, but also the continued interaction between us. Many don’t know what a care package means to a young soldier away from home, but the Sonoma VFW had a good idea, and they continued to send them. Again I can’t say enough.
With leaders like Dan and the many others behind him, when the soldiers are deployed they know it is worth it and that the American public is behind them.
Keep up the outstanding work. I wouldn’t be surprised if the Sonoma VFW membership busts the doors wide open with leadership that is setting at the table now.

Take back the message of love and support to the troops from the VFW and all the fine Veterans Organizations Tim, tell the troops to keep those organizations alive. And we will keep supporting your efforts protecting this Great Nation!
