Lobster sale 2014 no. 2

Soroptimist International of Sonoma Valley will be selling live and cooked Maine lobsters at the Sonoma Chamber of Commerce, with all proceeds benefiting local projects facilitated by the local chapter. Lobster sales will support programs like scholarships for Sonoma Valley High School girls and donations to local non-profits.

The lobsters are being flown in from Maine and delivered from San Francisco to Sonoma and will average 1.5 pounds each. They’ll be sold for $25 a pop. To buy your lobster, you have to pre-order by May 15. Call Juliette (338-1874) or Tarja (843-1248) to reserve them. You can request them live or cooked.

After you reserve, you’ll be able to pick up your crustaceans on May 16 between 10AM-2PM at the Sonoma Chamber of Commerce front lawn.

Soroptimist International is a volunteer organization for women who focus on improving the lives of women and children around the world, including right here in Sonoma Valley. sonomasoroptimist.org
