Springs colors ‘brighten my day’

I am sorry to hear that there is controversy around the colorful murals in the Springs. Their whimsical liveliness and vibrancy brighten my day. When I saw first saw them, I thought that they were an inspired way to increase tourism. People drove to Sebastopol to see their recycled metal sculptures and I imagine they would visit the Springs to see the color. I can imagine, too photos in VIA or Sunset magazines. I hope things work out and that they stay — and even increase.

    1. Love the color and the concept– life is short! Let’s go for the fun!

Maggie Bedord, I agree!! However, I am shocked by the downright rude and mean and racist comments I have heard from our community over the past week, both in person and on the Springs Community Alliance Facebook page. If we ever have real problems (other than paint), like floods and earthquakes, I have zero faith that the people in this town will rally together to help each other. Sad.
