Sonoma graffiti vandal busted

Angelo Fischetti, 23, of Sonoma, an alleged graffiti vandal known “Hope” and “Karma,” was arrested Monday for Threats, Being Under the Influence, and Violation of Probation.

During the investigation, a deputy located numerous cans of spray paint and various nozzles consistent with graffiti taggers. Fischetti, has a history of tagging, according to Sonoma Police Chief Bret Sackett.

Found in Fischetti’s house and on his property were graffiti tags consistent with vandalism found in several locations in the Sonoma Valley, including Boyes Hot Springs and the City of Sonoma, during the preceding week.

A detective subsequently interviewed Fischetti, who admitted to spraying graffiti at numerous locations in the Sonoma Valley and the City of Sonoma.

The Sheriff’s Graffiti Abatement Unit cleaned up the majority of the graffiti.
