This weekend, wine lovers from across the Bay Area will flock to celebrate April in Carneros as part of the Carneros Winery Collective’s annual wine tasting event.
For two days, April 16-17, fifteen Carneros AVA wineries will open their door exclusively to April in Carneros participants, coupled with food pairings and live music.
It’s a great excuse to check out a few off the beaten path wineries, including the cozy Homewood Winery, where visitor’s can pair Homewood’s red and white wines with pizza’s from The Pizza Company.
It’s also a good chance to stock up on locally produced wines, as many wineries offer discounts during the weekend.
Additional winery participants include Bonneau Wines, Ceja Vineyards, Cline Cellars, Gloria Ferrer, Jacuzzi Family Vineyards, Keating Wines, Larson Family Winery, Meadowcroft Wines, Poseidon Vineyards, Robledo Family Winery, Schug Carneros Estate, Starmont Winery (Sunday only), Ty Caton Vineyards.
Additionally, some of the best Sonoma County musical acts will be performing throughout the weekend: Tommy Tomsen, Ten Foot Tone, The Cork Pullers, The No Buenos, The Movers, Train Wreck Junction, and LaTiDo Salsa Band.
