Coroner ID’s victim of Lakeville Highway truck crash

Sonoma County Sheriff Coroner’s Office has released the name of the driver who died in the commercial truck collision on Wednesday June 29, on Lakeville Highway near Old Lakeville Road #2.
The deceased is identified as Melvin Leiva, 31, from Los Angeles.
Leiva was killed when his big rig struck a tree and burst into flames. The road was closed for over 12 hours as crews put out the fire, which had spread to two Eucalyptus trees.
