Join in for a holiday hike on Memorial Day – of moderate pace and length – through the serene wilds of Jack London State Historic Park. Volunteer Hike Leader Rusty Sims guides hikers on a five-mile loop that includes Upper Fallen Bridge Train, a stop at the Ancient Redwood and a return on Quarry Trail.
The free hike is Monday, May 29, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Parking fee applies.
Hikers meet in Upper Parking Area/Beauty Ranch parking lot at Jack London State Historic Park, 2400 London Ranch Road in Glen Ellen. Hikers should wear sturdy shoes; bring plenty of water, lunch or a snack. Consider trekking poles, sunscreen, and bug repellant. Rain will cancel. 707.938.5216.
