Sonoma Arts Live’s final servings of ‘Arsenic’

The family that goes insane together*, stays together. Throw in a few murders by poisoned wine, wit and farce, and you’ve got “Arsenic and Old Lace,” the Broadway gem from 1941.

Michael Ross directs the Sonoma Arts Live production of the classic black comedy, though February 9.

Karen Brocker most recently seen in It’s a Wonderful Life at Napa Valley Community College, plays Abby Brewster, and Karen Pinomaki, who just wowed SAL audiences with her portrayal of the fan club president in Always….Patsy Cline, plays her sister, Martha Brewster. Michael Murdock stars as their nephew Mortimer (the part made famous by Cary Grant in the movie), Tim Setzer, Horace Vandergeller in SAL’s hit Hello, Dolly!plays Uncle Teddy Brewster, Mike Schaeffer (equity) plays Jonathan Brewster, and Julianne Bradbury plays Mortimer’s love interest, Elaine.  Rounding out the cast are Zach Stockton, Rose Roberts, Rick Love, Richard Romero, Owen Hardisty, Michael Walraven, Miles Ainley, and George Bereschik.
