The first hike of 2020

Celebrate the brand-new year with a hike to Bald Mountain in Sugarloaf State Park. The 5.25 to 6.5-mile hike (final route will be determined by trail conditions) climbs to 1,500 feet, offering fantastic 360 degree views of Sonoma Valley, Napa Valley, and San Francisco.
Be prepared for inclement weather. Pack a lunch, wear comfortable shoes, bring water and sunscreen, and wear layers. Free, but parking fees apply. 10 a.m. 2605 Adobe Canyon Rd. Kenwood. Sugarloafpark.org.
