Two workers at the Sonoma Dutch Bros. location have tested positive for Covid-19, according to an updated company statement.
Employee #1 received a positive COVID-19 result on 7/2. Employee #2 received a positive result on 7/5. Each has been advised to self-isolate for 14 days.
Prior to the positive test, Employee #1 worked a morning shift on 6/28; an afternoon shift on 6/26 and an evening shift on 6/27. Employee #2 worked afternoon shifts on 7/1 and 7/2.
“We learned of the first positive case on Thursday, 7/2 and immediately started closing procedures,” according to the latest company statement. “Due to the timing of the second case, an additional closure wasn’t recommended.”
The boarded window, shown in this photo from July 6, appears to be a coincidence.
“The health and well being of our customers and employees is always our top priority,” said the original post at dutchbros.com. “That’s why we feel it’s important to confirm a (Sonoma) employee of has tested positive for COVID-19.”
