Pop-up Queer Clothes Swap at Sonoma Community Center

Posted on September 14, 2021 by Sonoma Valley Sun

It’s time for your unwanted items to come out of the closet and down to the Sonoma Community Center for its quarterly Queer Clothes Swap. Saturday, September 18, 2-4 p.m. on the SCC back patio.

This is a LGBTQ+ friendly, gender-neutral, and judgment-free event. And: free admission.

Do you have a fabulous frock, terrific trousers, or some stunning shoes abandoned and lonely at the back of your wardrobe? Swap them for something even more fabulous.

Please bring at least five and no more than 10 (so there is plenty to go around) good books and/or wonderful clothing items that are in good condition meaning washed with…

  • No holes
  • No missing buttons or zippers
  • No stains
  • Not worn out from washing a million times
  • No underwear please (flexible with corsets and binders)
  • No children’s clothes
  • No cosmetics or pierced jewelry thank you.

The general rule: If you wouldn’t give it to a good friend, please consider recycling it rather than swapping it. The Sale reserves the right to turn away any item.

The Sonoma Community Center is located at 276 E. Napa St.  Check out the fall calendar.
