A Portrait of Sonoma County was first released in 2014, and had a major impact on nonprofits and service organizations. Now it’s getting an update.
The Portrait showed how widely the neighborhoods of Sonoma County diverge in three key areas: life expectancy, education, and income. The findings have spurred targeted interventions in places and populations to positively affect people’s lives.
The public is invited to help shape the next Portrait, one that integrates what we know from fires, the Black Lives Matter movement, the pandemic, and severe drought. Join the conversation on October 13, 12:00-1:30pm.
