Hawaiian jam session

Time for another Hula Mai Hawaiian Jam (Kanikapila) — Saturday afternoon, June 25, 2022 from 2 – 4 p.m. at the Sonoma Valley Woman’s Club, 574 1st St E.

Led by the North Bay’s King of Kanikapila, Del Medina, the songs are about half American Pop and half Hawaiian. 

Open to all ukulele players, guitar players, hula dancers, singers, kazoo players, and foot thumpers. Admission is free, but a $5 donation is requested to help maintain the historic and beautiful clubhouse which will be 100 years old next year. 

Join in the singing and dancing. Events held on the 4th Saturday of the month. 

Betty Ann Bruno was Sonoma’s 2021 Treasure Artist

Light refreshments will be provided by members of Hula Mai, which was founded six years ago by Betty Ann Bruno.

On June 28, the local troupe will present a free show on Sonoma Plaza as part of the Tuesday Night Market on Sonoma Plaza, 5 p.m.
