Robert Parmelee honored with City proclamation

The Sonoma City Council awarded a special proclamation to Robert Parmelee, posthumously, for his decades of civil service in the community. Parmalee
amassed vast collection of valuable Sonoma Valley memorabilia that was donated to the Sonoma Valley Historical Society/Depot Park Museum.
The collection contained priceless documents (including a check signed by Gen. Mariano Vallejo) original maps, photographs of properties, Sonoma pioneers
and dignitaries and their families and memorabilia from more than 100 years ago.  Parmelee died a year ago in August.
Accepting the proclamation on August 3 are his daughters Lori Parmelee and Janine Parmelee Andrews.
