Sonoma’s public restrooms are a disgrace

’Sonoma is a destination city! One of our main sources of revenue is tourism, and yet, our public  restrooms are more than a disgrace. 

This past weekend the men’s bathroom in Depot Park had a major clog  causing the back-up to run onto the floor of the facility. It was virtually  “out of order” and yet, guests from tour buses were in need with no place  “to go!” 

This has been an ongoing problem and has been brought before our City  Council numerous times, and once again, our City Management and Parks  Department turn a blind eye and pretend it is not a problem or it doesn’t  exist. 

We should all be ashamed and embarrassed that our beautiful town cannot provide clean, functioning and up-to-date facilities for all people to utilize, not only locals but those who choose to visit.
