This free animal-themed screening event goes way beyond special effects. First, Robert Downey stars as Doolittle, the doctor who can talk to animals; then actual live, exotic creatures from Lyon Ranch. Staff and animal trainers from Lyon Ranch will be at the theater showing beautiful and unusual creatures to the audience.
The third cinematic Dr. Doolittle, (Rex Harrison in 1967 and Eddie Murphy in 1998), Downey cavorts with a stable of strange pets voiced by an all-star movie zoo: Selena Gomez, Tom Holland, Emma Thompson, Craig Robinson, Rami Malek, and many more.
What might the Lyon Ranch animals have to say? Saturday, June 10. 2pm. Sebastiani Theatre, Sonoma. Admission is free and open to the public.
