Former Sonoman Len Handeland reads from his book, The Darkest Gift on Sunday, July 16 at 10:30am, Reader’s Books in Sonoma.
This fantasy novel is the story of Jack, whose encounter and eventual relationship with the elegant, yet mysterious Laurent Richelieu leads him into the supernatural world, where vampires roam and spirits appear. You may remember Len and his husband Byron Hancock from their tenure in Sonoma—Len owned two hair salons and Byron was prominent in Sonoma Rotary. They now live in Palm Springs and are only back for a brief visit so don’t miss this chance!
