Michael Acker’s ‘Solid’ solo show

Springs-based artist Michael Acker’s solo show, “All That is Solid,” opens September 2 at Sonoma Community Center’s Gallery 212.

The exhibit will run through September 29. It is free to attend.

 

The pandemic turned out to be a prolific period for Acker, who hunkered down in the studio to create his next collection. “It was the greatest excuse in the world to hole up in a studio working or to be in the garden playing with plants,” he said said.

“All That is Solid” opens with a reception at 5 p.m. in Gallery 212 at the Center. It will be open daily from 8am to 6pm through September 29.
